A downloadable game for Windows

Buttheads PE is an arcade fighting game that takes the concept of “button mashing” and makes it intentional. Utilizing a hyper simplistic combat control, I designed and built a world around that idea.

Butt heads to charge your move meter, every move is a one button press. Use your head butt to counter or be the first to pull off your counter attack.

no jumping, no blocking, all action.

Buttheads is a passion project birthed into existence when I watched my 7 year old nephew want to play Street Fighter but struggle to understand how to play. I have often loved games with simple concepts and mechanics, this, mixed with my love of classic cartoons and fighting games gave life to Buttheads.

At this stage in production I'm looking to see if there is an audience for a game like this and what feedback people can offer. The prototype is a shell of the full game I'd love to make. I have a laundry list of characters still being developed, with support I'm hoping to make the full game a reality. Some of those features were teased in the trailer, including explorable areas in story mode and moves/costume customization.

I've loved working on this IP and hopefully that comes through in the gameplay.
